How can i progress on Fl Studio?

I really feel like i am stuck in my progress like i really would know
any motivating tips. Kind of how you guys started out with FL and how
you progressed(please dint just say try everything, experiment) i
really tried all most anything but cant come any further.

Well my fl experience is:
I know all the basics like
- pattern
- play list
- octaves
- where everything on the display is (menu to the right, and stuff)

Here is what i am really struggling on

making a real melody i just cant seem to figure out how to do this
have watched tutorial but in the end when i watch tuts all i end up
with is copying their Melody's.

adding a little flavor to the track really get stuck with some main
4-6 (inc piano, or ch, syn) sounds then i feel like that is enough

wELL IN THE END MY QUESTION IS HOW DID U GUYS SURPASS THE ESE PROBLEMS
AND BECOME GREAT PRODUCERS, LIKE WHAT DID U DO(WATCH TUTS, TRY, LEARN
NOTES, LEARN HOW TO PLAY PIANO, BUY A MIDI KEYBOARD) ????? PLEASE
ANSWER I REALLY NEED THIS
